Over a year later, at the end of this role (and before starting as a Workplace Specialist), I finished at 572% of my month's plan and 110.5% of my annual plan with 4 months to spare. As a CAM, I challenged my customers to disrupt and innovate by identifying and growing opportunities for digital transformation, focused on enabling End Users, and catalyzing their journey to Hybrid IT and the Cloud. I ran my book of business with an entrepreneurial flair, combining hunting and farming sales approaches to sustain and grow relationships, provide direct and indirect value through competitive quoting, delivering industry insights, tailoring proposals and championing the best solutions to impact my customers, Softchoice, and our partners. My strength was in crafting demand generation email campaigns and sales content for call-down campaigns and customer webinars. The role called for in-depth experience managing and collaborating with all the spokes in the supply chain wheel - from weekly face-to-face meeting with C Suite executives, IT and purchasing teams, to distribution, manufacturing, internal pre-sales, marketing, finance and other departments. I regularly strategized and co-sold products and services with a number of the world's most innovative tech companies in Hardware, Security, Data center, Networking, Hybrid IT and Cloud Solutions, like Google, Dell, Microsoft, VMWare, Veeam, HP, AWS, Adobe, Arctic Wolf, Atlassian and Cisco, to name a few. I am also a Softchoice ambassador to the Women In Tech Sales boot camps organized by Talent Minded and I'm currently spearheading our newest internal initiative - connecting interns from Ryerson University with our workforce and training them on the job.
