As a Business Analyst I am responsible for capturing business, functional and non-functional requirements, documenting user stories and functional processes to determine the scope of enhancements to existing applications and new software implementations. Formulating requirement specifications to detailed functional requirements and serve as an interface between clients, internal project teams and development to gather and communicate information relevant to the various projects to deliver the solution. In addition to managing scope and gaining an in-depth understanding of business and functional requirements I assist clients in determining the impact of new implementations and identifying any dependencies based on other projects in the environment and future expansions thereof. In my role as business analyst I interface with development and implementation teams as well as client project teams to co-ordinate delivery schedules and manage delivery timelines.
