US$63 Million Engineering Procurement Construction project for the improvement of the energy sector of Ghana, West Africa. The project consisted of the design and construction of:
330kV and 161kV Substation 330kV Transmission Line; route-distance of 121miles
• Supervised the construction and installation of equipment foundations and electrical equipment such as circuit breakers, current transformers, and disconnect switches
• Partnered with consultants and cross-functional heads from different disciplines to troubleshoot and resolve design-construction issues expeditiously to maintain planned schedule
• Prepared and presented forecasted schedules, project status and progress reports during meetings with client
• Represented the contractor in design, engineering and regular progress meetings and provided project status and progress reports during meetings with all stakeholders • Visited the site to monitor subcontractor performance against specifications, codes and drawings while ensuring quality, health, safety and environmental standards.
• Prepared punch-list items and processed documents for the project close-out
