I collaborated closely with Lucas Cabinet Design LC, providing contract design services. I assisted with approximately 70 multi-unit projects during my time with Lucas cabinets. Drafting the submittals, updating the those every time redlines came back to us. and from those I used the manufacturers smart spreadsheets to update the estimates. I learned a lot. The hours for this contract position slowed as supply lines were interrupted and factories had issues with staffing. I worked at Flying Santo Taco Bar and Brosia Bowl to supplement my income during this time. That business hasn't really recovered enough to provide more than 2 designers work. so I pivoted back to the big box store. Key Highlights: Commercial Expertise: Proficient in estimating and specifying cabinetry for commercial and multi-unit developments. and working with construction interfaces such as Blue Beam, ConstructConnect. Vendor Relationships: Well-versed in working with cabinet lines such as Kountry Wood Products, Master WoodCraft Cabinetry LLC, and Grandview Cabinetry.

During her six-month battle with stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, her constantly changing appointment schedule conflicted with the store's scheduling policies, as I was her primary transportation. Although my absence from the showroom floor did not impact my design clients, it affected proper coverage for adjacent departments.
