Jun. 2013 - Jan. 2014As an intern at the School of Informatics and Computing, I worked on a project in the PHIT (Pervasive Health Information Technologies) lab. This project is called SOLACE (Supporting Older Adults and their Caregivers Electronically) which is a new PHIT project that will provide guidance to community members, service providers, and governmental agencies about how to wield technology to enable low-SES (Socio-economic Status), urban- and rural-dwelling older adults to age in place, while simultaneously easing the burden on caregivers. I worked on the Trip Advisor which is a technology prototype for elder adults in their homes. Responsibilities Included

• Authored and Completed a Senior Thesis on the SOLACE project
