In 2019 at the age of 31 she suffered an ischemic stroke that left, the left side of her body paralyzed. The doctors told her she would most likely be in a wheelchair the rest of her life. Despite her prognosis, Kristen held onto hope and fought every day to rebuild her life. Now back to running, lifting weights and training for marathons again! Kristen uses her story to inspire others to keep pushing no matter what life throws at you. Some of her clients include; Google, The American Brain Foundation, Disability Network Southwest Michigan, The American Heart Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters, YWCA.
