financial forecasts; accurately manage project financials, including forecasting; identify, schedule
and manage required resources; monitor and report on progress and status; manage issues, risks
and changes for projects
• Build a highly collaborative team using agile methodologies (scrum, Kanban, etc). Coach the
team and drive organizational change for our new ways of working.
• Organize and facilitate sprint planning and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews,
retrospectives, and other agile related events
• In partnership with the product owner and teams on user story sizing and acceptance criteria
definition, facilitates the definition of minimal viable product, and leads continuous refinement and
prioritization of the product backlog
• Work with the Head of Application Change Delivery, Digital Delivery Manager, Solution Architects,
Contact Business Owners and other stakeholders to move projects through stages and gateways,
via business case and other formal project approval documents.
• Manage communications with stakeholders, within the project team and to the wider Contact.
Ensure project-related changes are well communicated, change-impacts carefully assessed and
appropriate advice, support and training given to business teams and their leaders
• Demonstrate leadership in building a thriving Project Management practice which supports and
develops the capability of all PM’s across Customer
• Mentor and support new Project Managers and other team members, connecting them to the
people, processes and systems they need to be successful
• Contribute to the development of team processes, templates and other resources to enable the
Change Excellence team to continuously improve its effectiveness
•Identify and recommend practical opportunities to enhance the value of the business
