Currently I am responsible, along with a few other team members (all of us are volunteers) with making (RNY) Ready New York Presentations to the elderly, school children at their schools and the general public during street "Outreach" 7/19/18 - I deployed our entire active team members to handle the aftermath of the massive Main Steam Pipe Explosion at 21st and 5th Avenue. Note: Our Upper West Side Team has been called upon to go to out-of-area city locations to help with disasters; gas explosions, fires, major weather issues. Upper West Side Community Emergency Response Team (UWS CERT) are trained and certified citizen volunteers organized to provide auxiliary support to the emergency response efforts of the New York Police and Fire DepartmentsUWS CERT Volunteers of Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

This is where I met other designer's, managers, owners and clients for the first time... a really great 1st job, and I learned everything I needed to learn to go out on my own after working there. My first task was to draw all the refineries world-wide, using pen and ink, Leroy Lettering tools, etc. on top of the largest drawing board I had ever seen at that time.
