This bank's focus was on Securities and Portfolio Analysis so the performance test was created based on live data. First of all I had to analyse the transactions to be able to plan the performance test properly. I had to implement the functional test for the Securities, Portfolio Analysis, Money Market, Loans modules and then use them for performance test too. For the performance test I had to work with different departments (network teem, jBase developers and technical support team) and synchronize their jobs. To test the interface messages I had to implement a comparison tool, which was able to compare character separated files and xml messages, ignoring the unnecessary fields and deliver an excel report for the analysts.
