My role included planning and executing qualitative user research of people with Parkinson's and their relationships with their direct environment. At the same time, I inferred meaning from the insights obtained during interviews to distil our users’ needs and pain points into digital designs for a mobile application. I worked closely with Software Engineers and deliver hi-fidelity prototypes ready to be developed. While the company is in a very early stage, I have proudly needed to worn different hats. These included supporting decision-making in MVP prioritisation meetings, conducting on-site app testing with our users abroad and using my storytelling skills to communicate action points to the team regarding iterations in the product.
