• Experience in multiple parts of a project, from take-offs and leasing through to drill site title and curative, preparing a unit for drills to go in the ground.
• Work with landowners and other necessary parties to cure title defects through research, various affidavits, subordinations, lease amendments, and other means as necessary.
• Negotiate and execute leases, amendments, and other necessary documents with landowners.
• Perform extensive mineral rights focused research in Ohio and Pennsylvania using internet, courthouse, and genealogical resources.
• Document and analyze the findings of research conducted, identifying defects and mineral ownership, prepare abstractor title reports, including maps, plots and other documents as necessary.
• Use well permits, lease information, title documents, ODNR, and PA IRIS|DEP to plot and map well locations and statuses.
• Use Metes and Bounds and Net Deed Plotter to create deed plots.
