Jan. 2008 - Jun. 2024I co-founded Asset Space in January 2008. Drawing on previous experience and my own commercial property background, when I set the company up, I wanted to position it in a way that was totally different to the other sales or brokerage agencies in the industry. As a result we are an asset management-minded commercialisation-focused business. We give our clients access to the resource and expertise that the biggest shopping centre owners of this world have in-house, but as an outsourced option. We effectively insert the required level and depth of resource into our client’s team, and work closely alongside them as part of the wider team on the asset to deliver the commercialisation strategy on an ongoing basis. We manage a portfolio of 35 shopping centres and over 70 retail and shopping parks for clients who range from the huge institutional to the private investor, and everything in between. We have many points of difference, but perhaps the most important one for our clients is the results we deliver for them, which have been proven time and time again. We have the ability to work on any sort of asset, with any sort of asset owner, as part of any sort of asset management strategy to deliver what each client wants.

During this time expanded the shopping centre marketing business, both in terms of number of instructions as well as team size. Also built the commercialisation business from purely RMU leasing to a full non-core income offer with corresponding growth in the number of clients.

Jan. 2001 - Dec. 2006Set up the internal shopping centre marketing and commercialisation consultancy at Savills, building this business to a stage wherethere were over 90 properties under management for both Savills-managed and non-Savills managed clients.
