I managed the operational aspects of the retail division, supported by Area Managers, Support Managers, an Retail Admin team, online store team, as well as the warehouse operations and warehouse staff. My role involved driving the strategic development of the retail team and department, which included introducing new totally refurbished boutique stores, designing the interiors and fitting out new retail shops and spaces, and updating the overall image, marketing material and visual merchandising of the retail arm of the business. I recruited 20 new members of staff, streamlined processes, and managed deliveries and procurement of new goods. I brought in new procedures and cost savings and restructured the Retail Division also bringing new skills into the business. Additionally, I led the development of branded goods for our stores and café. I worked closely with senior management and HR and reported directly to the CEO, the Board of Trustees, and various committees.
