When a company sponsored minor league baseball field was to be built on a site that was originally the site of the company’s first headquarters we had to manage the “family” and long time residents and opinion leaders who saw this as a negative. Since then, the addition of the minor league team has been viewed as an enormous positive. Led the Employee Advisory Committee and facilitated the Citizens Advisory Committee. Participated as a media guide during the company’s annual shareholder’s meeting and even faced “The Yes Men” on company property.

Conducted publicity of other separations for sugar and drugs including anti-biotics. Wrote and published brochures, and led tradeshows all over the world. Was the first Dow person to use video news conferences on the Internet, live from Amsterdam.
