Oct. 2016 - May. 2021Paris Area, FranceAt BSR I delivered consulting services and collaborative initiatives for international brands, blue-chip companies, local trade associations, business partners and development partners. With an emphasis on the use of data and technology, I worked to improve business efficiencies and conditions for worker communities within international supply/value chains mainly related to consumer goods and textile/RMG industries. Business development and relationship management also factored significantly in my work, especially when working for BSR HERproject. My work included consultancy projects focussing on research/benchmarking, strategy and ESG reporting via multiple BSR areas of expertise, including Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), Women’s Empowerment, Sustainable Supply Chain, and Sustainability Management. I led the implementation of development programs and projects in East Africa and South Asia, most notably with the HERproject. I regularly led primary data collection. I then applied these data in collaboration with partners to strengthen the HERproject digital financial inclusion and gender inclusion curriculums and methodologies. Much of my work at BSR reflected my interest in commodity value chains and supply chains and how they—through the increasing application of technology and data—intersect with our lives and the future we are creating.
