I design and support our ETL ingestion development roadmap for all data landing in our Cloud Data Repository. I am also heavily involved in the EDA strategic roadmap development and Cloud migration. Designed and implemented daily FHIR extraction process from Epic into Lakehouse. I am also working on current region migration of resources and large volumes of data in Azure. I plan and organize the technical work for the teams and serve as the main liaison between the business, other IS teams and the architects on the team. Relevant Work:
- Managed and provided data stewardship for all inpatient reporting and data structures
- Design and develop best practices for DevOps process for the EDA
- Designed and implemented daily incremental FHIR extraction from Epic into Lakehouse
- Design and work on implementation of region migration for all Enterprise Data and resource configuration
- Designed and implemented Databricks Unity Catalog for the organization, spanning four environments and multiple teams and workspaces.
- Design and develop plan for Azure cloud region migration for all EDA and Reporting services
- Design and develop cloud infrastructure for loading and processing FHIR data from our EMR systems
- Design processes for loading data through Azure Data Factory, DataBricks, Azure Functions and various cloud services to load all types of data
- Design and organize various aspects for ETL using Azure Data Factory and Databricks
- Oversee the design and development of code used in our tools on the ETL Ingestion framework
- Design, develop and maintenance of the core IDS dimensions and facts
- Assist other teams in various data and cloud architecture aspects
