The structure is spanning over a multi-lane highway, which forms part of the redevelopment of the approach into Doha from the airport in preparation for the football World Cup of 2022. Modelled in Revit Structures 2013 and co-ordinated with in-house architects and M&E departments. Al Wakrah Stadium Roof, Al Wakrah, Qatar – A steel truss and glulam timber beam construction roof over a 20,000-seat stadium, again being built for the 2022 World Cup. The challenging geometry of this roof has made the modelling, done in Revit Structure 2014, one of the more interesting things that I have worked on so far.
