With over 20 years of experience in the classroom, I am a passionate and versatile educator and musician currently leading the Music and Drama department at the International School of Moscow. I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Music) and a Bachelor of Music from Goldsmiths, University of London, and I am a Grade 8 standard pianist with exceptional improvisation skills. I have successfully taught Music, Drama, and Humanities to students of different ages and abilities, and I have led large departmental teams and recruited teachers. I have also organised, hosted and led various educational events, festivals and programs, Directed music lesson timetables and exams, theatre shows, and musical theatre lessons. I am proficient in using IT tools for educational management and data-driven decision making. I have launched ABRSM Music exams in Russia in 2019 and have worked with local and international charities to raise money through music events throughout my career. My strong communication skills enable me to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, and I infuse creativity into my leadership approach. I am always eager to learn new skills and take on new challenges in my role.
