Key player in establishing the company’s first Exclusivity Contract with NIMCO, an educational campaign vendor, to guarantee the agency a gross annual income of $100K of five years for their Red Ribbon Campaign.
Responsible for managing the agency’s $500K budget of non-restricted funds on behalf of the Board. Rolled out and coordinated the Annual National Red Ribbon Campaign on a Local and National grassroots level with schools throughout the nation with an exclusive national retail vendor, NIMCO for maximum distribution. Maintained and managed the agencies institutional properties, in order to maintain agency’s Corporate Branding and Marketing efforts. Coordination of all agencies’ annual corporate meeting in Washington, D.C. at CADCA (Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America) including venue registration, itinerary, budget, and catering. Launched annual Red Ribbon Theme reveal and thank all key political figures that have supported the campaign for over 35 years. Rolled out the agency’s first evidence based prevention program with FSU, “Red Ribbon Certified Schools”, a program that fostered a culture of prevention in the participating schools as well as promoting positive health behaviors. Assisted the Program Director and the Integrated Creative Agency of record in the implementation of the agency’s first prescription drug abuse and misuse campaign, “Lock Your Meds”, through grassroots material distribution efforts, and a major pharmaceutical company.
Coordinated consecutively for five years the marketing effort for the annual fundraiser “An Evening at Joe’s” that celebrated the philanthropic effort that supported the statewide drug prevention program for the Miami local chapter, Informed Families, which raised an estimated $260K.
