Currently in VCA - Vehicle Certification Agency - South America team as Certification/Homologation Automotive Engineer for the Latin America, Europe and rest of the world markets, in homologation of vehicle, truck and motorcycle applications. Now working with UN-R / UNECE regulations for big worldwide manufacturers some of them installed in Brazil. Recently supported VCA North America in Euro 6e (November 2023) and Euro 6d Type Approval from March to May 2022 both in person going to USA. Improving knowledge and relationship skills abroad. Developed Brazilian homologation and regulations in association with IBAMA (from 2017-2020) the Brazilian Environment Institute. -Background until 2017 of a Automotive Engineer M.Sc. with 15 years of knowledge and experience on engines development and 2 years in vehicle prototype development , including: - Certification of vehicles in chassis dynamometer, procedure and standards (Brazil and Europe); - Engine Calibration on test cell and vehicle; - DFMEA ( Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis); - DVP (Design of Validation Process) to launch the product for series; - DoE - Design of Experiments - for engines calibration; - Formation processes of the main pollutants in Otto/Diesel engines; -Technologies for reducing pollutants such as EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation), SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction), DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst), POC (Partial (filter) and Oxidation Catalyst), CDPF (Catalyst Diesel Particulate Filter); -Water in diesel emulsions, Biodiesel and alternative fuels engine exhaust emissions evaluation and tests. - Evaluation and analysis to best design the biggest players of a internal combustion engine, i.e. fuel injectors, piston bowl, turbocharger and swirl port; Inca 5.4/6.2/7.0 – software for engine calibration; - ETAS Tools; - Tests follow-up in order to evaluate performance and emissions in laboratory and field; - Emissions certification process experience and contact with Brazilian government agency Cetesb, Spanish IDIADA and Chinese Government Te
