Feb. 2020Toronto, Ontario, CanadaProject Objective: To build a new digital bank in Barbados using best in class technologies. ● Led cross-functional teams, managed resources, and collaborated with vendors across four different time zones to successfully launch a new cutting-edge full-service retail digital bank: Sagicor Bank Barbados Limited (www.sagicor.bank). ● Responsibilities included producing and maintaining key documents such as the Project Management Plan (scope, schedule, cost, communications, stakeholder engagement, etc.) and subsidiary plans (risk register, issues log, change log, etc.). and leading a team of 18 core resources. ● Delivered and executed detailed plans for all aspects of a new bank build, including obtaining a new bank license, technology solution planning (RFP’s and vendor assessments), technology build and the marketing launch plan using Microsoft Project and JIRA. ● Managed the integration, configuration, and branding of multiple technology vendor components for the bank build, including core banking system and mobile app (Mbanq), digital onboarding (Au10tix), Issuing Implementation (Mastercard), Cards processing (HPS), credit/debit card design and production (Thales), bank website (Drupal), customer support (Zendesk) and chatbot (Glia). This resulted in a fully cloud based mobile application (AWS), using REST APIs for integration of all components. ● Led the seamless integration of the parent company’s insurance offerings, user experience journeys, and cross-selling initiatives with bank products complemented by insurance services.

For events such as Santa visits/photos/books, Gift Wrapping, Exclusive Retail Product Launches, etc. This complex bi-lingual solution required configuration, POS integration, KPI’s. analytics, and support across 17 Cadillac Fairview properties, including integration with Adobe Campaign for a personalized customer email. Each year the ticketing system processes over 500K+ tickets. ● Led a team of (9) resources and the solution vendors (6) for the upgrade and enhancement of shops.cadillacfairview.com: a retail property portal for all 19 Shopping Mall locations across Canada (some bilingual). This was developed in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and used as the digital platform to share retail information (mall maps, stores, newsletters, etc.) promote local events, campaigns, and contests online. ● Identified savings of $500K+ on underutilized software and renegotiated existing contracts (with Adobe Canada) for additional savings.

Roger’s VA initiative was complex with a customer base of 10 million+, and interaction transcripts, across multiple engagement channels. ● The VA, named Anna, was launched in December 2018. CRM backend was built in Adobe Campaign (using Oracle database) ● After the first month of the support chat bot (Anna) being launched, incoming calls into the Support Centre were reduced significantly, resulting in client savings and customer satisfaction.

Dec. 2014 - Aug. 2017Edmonton, Canada AreaProject Objective: Ministry Digital Transformation - To develop and implement new digital tools for Alberta students to increase post-secondary enrollment and transfers. ● Led the development and delivery of a complex system that primarily involved three components: Data Collection and Reporting, Secured Identity and Access Management, and the Transfer Catalog System. With millions of agreement records, Master Data Management and Governance were applied, based on the Ministry’s guidelines. New Database design and extensive data cleansing was required to build the Transfer Catalog. This system allows Post Secondary Institutions (PSI) in the province to upload Courses, Programs and Agreements securely into the online Catalog. ● Managing a team of 11 dedicated (and 5 shared) resources, I provided leadership expertise and strategic direction to deliver multiple new websites/applications through Umbraco CMS. Websites developed include Transfer Alberta, Alberta Regional Dashboard, Alberta Major Projects. ● Responsible for producing project charters, project timelines, presentations to Ministry stakeholders, status updates, project budgets, change management, issue and risk management, resourcing, and overall project execution. Microsoft tools (Enterprise Project and SharePoint) were leveraged for delivery.
