Determines sourcing needs, understands the supply market and develops sourcing strategy for each spend category assigned Monitor price trend and market movement for assigned categories/spend and seek sourcing opportunity to optimize Nestle benefits (secure supply, price optimism, VMI, I&R) Seek new supplier sources in open markets for contingency plan and promoting competition; screen suppliers based on a set of criteria; specifications, quality, performance, pricing, etc. Monitor supplier performance based on results provided by Receivers, communicate supplier scorecard and arrange meetings with suppliers to find corrective actions as needed Lead initiatives to reduce total cost (cost of purchasing and purchases), reduce operation complexity (rationalize suppliers, specifications) and implement P2P best practices
