Escort 3rd party vendors into the Data Centre ensuring works performed by 3rd party vendors are completed on time whilst maintaining data centre practice. Work closely with the landlord of the COLO where Data Centre is hosted to ensure SLA's are met and maintained and troubleshoot any incidents that may arise. Attending weekly team meetings to ensure review upcoming works and bring up potential any issues on site. Providing on-call shift support Troubleshooting of various different types of copper and/or fiber data circuits using a Fluke DTX 1800 cable analyzer and/or loop backs. Building, Installation & decommissioning server and networking equipment whist maintaining good centre practice. Cable management and best practices within a Data Centre rack environment.
