(Data Quality Management, Discovery Implementation & Process Control definition and implementation) • Implement and effect the complete Configuration Management Function as defined in project objectives.

This project aimed to implement a BMC Remedy Solution as a replacement for the HP Service Desk solution for the IT & Billing, Networks and Vodacom Business Groups in Vodacom. A Common Business Operating Model approach was used for the implementation of the BMC Remedy Solution. The process implementation was aligned to both ITIL and the TMF Frameworx. As member of Project Smartt Management Team was responsible for: • Leading the project team responsible for delivery of all the integration requirements for project Smartt. • The delivery of 16 transactional integrations required for the project including effort required to support the complete SDLC. • Stakeholder management and communication; keep all stakeholders across a diverse Vodacom landscape involved and informed on project progress and dependencies on their input & deliverables. • Managing relationships and negotiations with suppliers and service providers. • Manage the preparation and readiness activities for the various deployment phases. • Consult larger project team on project strategy and deployment strategy for the complete project • Represented Vodacom and protected the interests of Vodacom on the various forums and platforms engaged with Project Smartt. • Assumed overall responsibility for the performance testing and optimization of Remedy and Integrated environment were relevant.
