Jun. 2017 - Apr. 2019Greater Los Angeles AreaAs the leader of Sugar Paper's retail sales channel, I was committed to growing their overall revenue by the expansion of brick and mortar retail locations. Starting with a store just outside of their comfort zone, I used it to develop finely tuned strategies and processes in order to roll out a seamless expansion with EBITDA in mind. -Developed new store pipeline strategies for retail expansion based on internal data from wholesale accounts, online sales, and existing stores. - Developed visual merchandising cadences for multi-store platforms complete with directives, schedules, and distribution plans, and toolkits. Developed an OTB in partnership with finance to ensure a seamless cashflow for replenishment of all stores. - Created overall buying strategies in partnership with the CEO, curating products that speak to our target market and align with our brand. Reliance was placed heavily on both COGS and received ratios to monitor a rolling OTB budget supported by data rather than inventory seasons. A
- Analyzed the overall business by sales, traffic, and inventory movement to develop strategies to drive the bottom line, with a healthy EBITDA being the through line to support additional expansion.
- Developed framework for all internal operations such as store to store reporting, store to corporate reporting, and softwares to support a fully digital landscape between all entities. - Partnered with other colleagues to build out staffing grids, store level payment structures, training guides, overall brand guides, and other supporting elements to ensure all staff had the resources they needed in order to be successful. Continuous market research to attend markets, stayed in tune with up and coming designers, etc.
