I qualified with the B.Proc., LL. B degrees in law with a major in German in 1985. I practised as an attorney in Johannesburg, South Africa for more than 20 years whereafter we founded Hampstead Advisory which is a corporate advisory firm situated in London. Parallel to this we formed Highgate Lease & Trading which is an aviation business specialising in putting together the sale and purchase of aircraft and offering turnkey solutions in the industry. My professional core competencies: include International commercial law, international contract law, brokering and dealmaking, consulting and mediation, aviation purchase and sale, aircraft parts, brokering and advising on purchase and sale of gold, project management, contract review, dispute resolution, capital raising and corporate advisory, as well supporting law firms in the German market with (English) contract review. I have strong intercultural competencies due to my many years of professional experience in both Southern and sub-Saharan Africa, as well as in the middle East, Europe and the United Kingdom and the United States, Through this I have gather a deep understanding of various cultures encountered in both business and private spheres in these regions. What I bring to the table is the ability to be the right hand for clients engaging in business in various jurisdictions, particularly between Europe and Africa.
