Our mission is to create a holistic space where Latinas can connect, grow, and thrive—supporting one another in their journey to break barriers, build legacies, and elevate their voices across the globe. Originally established in 2020 through what is now the local chapter Austin Latinas Unidas, The Latina Foundation was born from a simple but powerful vision: to create safe, uplifting spaces for Latinas to gather, grow, and lead. What began as a local initiative has since evolved into a growing movement grounded in collective empowerment, sisterhood, and cultural pride. Through curated events and intentional programming, Austin Latinas Unidas continues to serve as a key pillar of the foundation—providing a welcoming space for ALL Latinas in Austin and surrounding cities to feel seen, inspired, and connected. Today, The Latina Foundation aims to be the leading hub for Latina empowerment—where Latinas are celebrated as powerful leaders, entrepreneurs, and change-makers shaping the future through creativity, resilience, and authenticity. We honor the diverse identities and lived experiences of every Latina and are committed to building a lasting legacy of unity, empowerment, and opportunity for generations to come.
