Founder
Love My CityFounder
Oct. 2015Wolverhampton, United KingdomI spearheaded a campaign to encourage the Wolverhampton community to love and transform their city. My passion for challenging mindsets and perceptions led to the development of a campaign that went viral, reaching over 33,000 people in the city in 2015. My efforts were recognised by BBC RADIO 4, where I was interviewed about the Love My City campaign. Through small acts of kindness throughout the city and a physical presence that engaged with people, we spread hope and kindness, transforming negative perspectives into positivity. I also led school workshops to help primary school children love their city and be change makers. Additionally, I developed arts clubs to encourage kindness and creativity. I have also collaborated with Fairtrade to release a Love Wolverhampton chocolate and with a local business to create a coffee brand. Leading teams of people to organise and plan events has been key in my role as the Love My City Founder. My aim was to encourage personal responsibility for the community, and inspire others to transform their city with love.

ALL NATIONS.Lead Graphic Designer
Nov. 2014 - Feb. 2016I was leading the design team in creating engaging visual content that communicated our values and vision. One of my achievements during my time at the church was spearheading the rebranding project, which involved developing a new visual identity that would better reflect our mission and ethos. Working closely with the leadership team and other stakeholders, I conducted extensive research and analysis to understand the church's unique identity and vision. I then worked to create a new visual language that would accurately convey these values to our audience. This included designing a new logo, selecting appropriate colour schemes, and creating brand guidelines that would ensure consistency across all our communications. In addition to the rebranding project, I also managed and mentored a team of graphic designers, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and creativity. I oversaw the design of various print and digital materials, including marketing collateral, event promotions, sermon series graphics, and social media content. My work at All Nations Church allowed me to develop my expertise in branding, typography, and visual communication. I enjoyed the challenge of finding creative solutions to design problems and working collaboratively with other teams to achieve our goals. I am proud of the work we accomplished during my time at the church and grateful for the opportunity to use my design skills to contribute to such a meaningful cause.
