Gerard Teuma is a seasoned executive and prominent figure in the broadcasting industry, best known for his ten-year long tenure as the Chief Executive Officer of Gibraltar Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) between 2012 and 2022. His vast experience in media and broadcasting spans over several decades having honed a career as a journalist and anchor, as well as a seven year spell as Director of Radio, giving him an in-depth understanding of the industry. As the CEO of GBC, he steered the corporation towards growth and success, ensuring the quality and diversity of content for viewers, as well as delivering a state of the art new media centre for GBC. He played a crucial role in promoting Gibraltar's local culture and heritage through the media. Gerard has since retired from his position at GBC but continues to be recognized for his significant contributions to the field of broadcasting both locally and internationally, having also served as Vice President of the global organization, Public Media Alliance.
