• Conducts a background investigation, interviewing the subject, employer, co-workers, arresting officer and family members of previously convicted felons that are seeking to get their conviction waived by ATF so that they can purchase, transport and transfer explosives for their job.
• Travels to remote locations to meet with convicted felons.
• Engages in sensitive and confrontational questioning in a skilled and professional manner.
• Completes record searches at law enforcement agencies, educational and financial institutions, and depending on the person’s background, medical and/or mental health facilities.
• Compiles all information gathered and submit a clear/concise report on a government computer system within a strict time frame. The length of the reports vary from one page to twenty pages.
• Possesses a United States Government Top Secret Clearance
