Blume is Marjorie's maiden name and creates her art under that name. The gallery also features one local artist for each First Thursday, showcasing their art at the front of the gallery for the full month they are selected for. Ridgeway Studios & Gallery participates in open studio events presented by ActivSpace, where she has her studio/gallery. What sets the gallery apart is the lower commission rates for showing artists, and the focus of local Oregon and Washington artists. Don't let the size of this sweet little gallery fool you. It packs a punch in selection and accessibility for all, and truly wants viewers to take their time and soak the art in.
