- Built and led a high performing technology team of five, fostering cross-functional collaboration between technology, operations, and investment teams. Enabled a self-managed team culture through agile facilitation, using Microsoft Azure, AI tools, DevOps practices, and project management platforms to drive delivery and communication flow.
- Led the comprehensive redesign and digitisation of the investor onboarding journey, enhancing KYC/AML compliance and investor experience. Oversaw vendor engagement, security assessments, testing, and delivery planning, collaborating with investment and operations teams to align technology with process innovation. Successfully onboarded investors into a fund with current commitments of €400M and a target of €1.3B.
- Implemented a carbon reporting framework to meet annual ESG obligations and advance the firm’s sustainability goals. Developed a custom carbon calculation tool for the Timberland investment team, which supported successful fundraising in multiple funds. Built an integrated reporting template using Microsoft tools and partnered with the Sustainability team to define key metrics and streamline data collection across departments, enabling accurate, audit ready reporting.
- Managed global operations and technology project budgets by securing necessary approvals and maintaining transparent communication with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions and time zones. Ensured all expenditures aligned with organisational objectives and values through rigorous cost control, prioritisation of strategic initiatives, and regular budget reviews, delivering projects on time and within budget while supporting business goals.
- Led the rollout and training of key operational systems, including HR reporting, accounting, travel, finance expense tool, and Allvue CRM platform, ensuring user adoption, data integrity, and security compliance. Achieved this by leveraging existing tools, managing budgets effectively, and applying strong stakeholder communication and engagement skills.
- Secured the firm’s first Cyber Essentials Plus certification and maintained it annually for three years by collaborating closely with security vendors and IT administrators. Led rigorous testing and monitoring processes and communicated proactively with users to ensure compliance and timely responses, strengthening regulatory compliance and operational security.
