The trading stream has shown little progress and needed to prove delivery. • After progress on the Trading Stream had stalled, led the turn-around of the trading engine program by influencing the bank to switch to a new market leading main vendor to enable the delivery of the program within only three months. • Ensured the accurate and timely delivery of detailed re-architecture requirements to vendors, ensured that the change management strategy was clear to all parties and ensured Board-level agreement to the change. • Re-developed and led the testing strategy to enable the re-testing of the platform to be completed in three months. • Retained full control and focus on the SDLC process with 30 disparate vendors. Stream Lead – User Experience Delivered a market leading user experience for the NabTrade application. • Managed up a team of up to 35 Testers, Business Analysts, subject matter experts and Project Managers to lead the gap mitigation project deliver front and back office requirements to build vendors. Involved dealing with the practical changes required to deliver a program against exceptional quality expectations and testing a full user experience in an Agile development environment with minimal resources. • Main point of commercial, SDLC and technical management, with responsibility for testing the user experience and ensuring that the four vendors delivered high quality code. • Ensured that the first round of testing was completed by the testing team through a practical risk-based testing regime.

Established a cross-industry IT working group to enable the Cayman Islands hedge fund industry provide feedback on the Authority’s IT projects and was a leading member of the industry working group for mutual funds. Project Manager / Technology Lead E-Reporting System This $4m project was the first offshore XBRL e-reporting project, the largest such offshore project and the Authority’s largest ever project. It was completed on time within budget to enable reporting on more than 10,000 global mutual funds. The new system replaced a paper based system which provided digital copies of the fund reports and meta-data and information about compliance undertakings. • Developed the RFP documents and, as technology lead for the Project Working Group, short listed prospective vendors, negotiated and awarded the contract. • In managing the vendor, ensured that development tasks were completed within budget, on time and to the required standards. • Managed the integration between legacy systems and the E-reporting system. • Managing virtual team of up to 20 individuals
