o Lead responsibilities included attending weekly meetings with Marathon Oil, S&B discipline leads, and demolition and construction contractors. Other responsibilities included interfacing with equipment vendors and making periodic field visits to address constructability issues. • Sweeney Fractionator One - Phillips 66 o Assisted PEs in the structural design of the Fractionator Plant in Sweeney, TX (Phillips 66).
o Responsibilities included concrete foundation design for horizontal and vertical loads, as well as design of pipe racks and foundations in accordance with ASCE, AISC, and ACI codes.
o Technical responsibilities included analyzing extended shear plate connections by FEA and AISC 360-10 methods, calculating gust effect factors for flexible vertical vessels based on ASCE 7-05, and stability analyses of existing X-bracing systems using AISC publications.
