I am currently the lead for all M&A activities in BCX (part of the Telkom Group) with end-to-end responsibility from sourcing/identification to deal execution and closure. BCX is a c. R15 billion revenue company (including internal revenue). The size of the company coupled with the fact that I am solely responsible for all M&A activities end-to-end. This requires the ability to work in a structured and organized manner and necessitates the ability to efficiently evaluate company-specific characteristics and match opportunities to strategic growth aspirations. Through this, I have gained more than c. 10 years of experience in M&A, specifically in areas such as deal sourcing, analytical reviews & opportunity evaluation, leading and coordinating due-diligence teams, valuations and investment presentations to executive teams and the relevant boards, also, negotiation and execution of deals to completion and closure. I received my CFA charter in April 2024 and my skillset and knowledge in M & A is extensive. So, I am looking forward to talking with you about this.
