Sep. 2020 - May. 2023As the leader of Next Generations staff for an 800+ congregation, I am responsible for a range of crucial duties. One of my key achievements has been the establishment of a post-graduate residency program, which provides young leaders with the skills and experience needed to launch successful careers in their chosen fields. In addition, I have played an instrumental role in defining the strategy and vision for our kids/student teams, helping to ensure that our programs are engaging, effective, and aligned with our overall goals. To support these efforts, I have also developed and maintained detailed department plans, schedules, and budgets, which enable us to operate efficiently and effectively. I have also created capital campaign materials for specific projects, helping to secure the funding needed to bring our vision to life. In addition to these responsibilities, I frequently engage in public speaking at large gatherings, sharing our message with others and inspiring them to get involved in our mission. I also collaborate closely with the Executive Leadership Team, working together to ensure that all aspects of our organization are aligned and progressing toward our goals. I also provide counseling support as part of our pastoral care team. From family counseling to leading various support groups, providing a safe place for people to feel known is a rewarding part of this position.

Nov. 2017 - Aug. 2020As the former manager of Kid's Ministry Staff, I played a pivotal role in shaping and directing the programs and activities central to our organization. One of my key contributions was collaborating with the Central Kids Team to develop a shared vision and strategy for our ministry. Through our joint efforts, we created a cohesive and effective plan that aligned with our overall mission and goals. Another important aspect of my role was the creation of engaging and effective curriculum and social content for our ministry. This involved a deep understanding of the needs and interests of the children we served, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality materials that were both fun and educational. To support these efforts, I provided training and support to our staff and volunteer leaders, ensuring they had the skills and knowledge to deliver effective programs and activities. I was also a member of various strategy implementation teams, working collaboratively with other stakeholders to ensure that our ministry was aligned with the overall vision and goals of our organization. Finally, an essential part of my work was serving and counseling children and families. From traumatic experiences to family disturbance, being in a safe place and providing spiritual counseling was very rewarding.
