Oct. 2014 - Jun. 2015Sea Point, Cape Town- Responsible for the direction of large projects (up to 50 projects) with major sub-projects or a program of interrelated projects ensuring: integration, coordination, timing and consistency of process throughout.
- Delivery of projects within scope, time and budget.
- Prepare and update project plans and produce SOW’s and work plans.
- Manage client expectations throughout the project and communicate plans and project status transparently and regularly to the client.
- Plan, track, control and report on projects based on defined process.
- Manage risk and scope through the project.
- Manage all project related documentation.
- Perform effort/cost estimates for projects as well as additional work added after the project is closed.
- Drive day-to-day prioritisation of work operations, projects and scope, troubleshoot reported issues and create new processes to improve/maintain quality control.
- Coordinate and manage the day to day efforts of the creative team, including digital art directors, creative and media managers, web traffic and search specialists, development teams and technical staff.
- Manages cross-functional project teams, identify resources needed, assign and prioritize tasks/responsibilities and ensure deadlines are met.
- Perform impact analysis of site/application changes across various components.
- Assist with development direction as well as conduct extensive QA and UX testing upon completion of development, to ensure excellent user experience.
