Responsible for developing & executing the people strategy to support Parc’s strategic direction, including areas as business agility, talent acquisition, employee engagement, L&D, compensation & succession planning, change management, performance management, employee rewards & recognition, and diversity & inclusion. - Provides strategic leadership and collaborates with executive leadership and the BOD to establish and execute all human capital & programmatic initiatives, including leading the team to create Parc’s first 3-year strategic plan.
- Used design thinking and business agility to reimagine the People Team to better serve the business & support operational goals. - Active coach and mentor to the entire senior leadership teams for employee and business-related issues.
- Driving continuous improvements to transform Parc into a agile social service agency, providing a differentiated employee experience and improved culture with increased transparency, accountability, teamwork and and resiliency.
- Transforming a disengaged, apathetic, burnt-out employee base through employee events, listening sessions, Coffee with Christy, multiple communication channels, and increased transparency, accountability and truth telling to one that is positive, inclusive, uplifting, and effective, resulting in a reduced turnover rate from 60%+ to 28% in 12 months, and reduced dependency on outside agency usage by 1,150% - With the CEO, travelled to Tallahassee and successfully lobbied for a $1.5M state appropriation to support the construction of Parc’s new $10M Children’s Services building. - As the Compliance Officer expertly navigated and resolved several challenging employee situations left open from the previous HR Director. - Conducting a comprehensive compensation analysis to better position Parc in the competitive talent market.
