I am naturally a strategic thinker combining my engineering background, commercial expertise, strategy skills and 14 years experience in the Oil&Gas, offshore renewables energy and maritime industries to deliver the insight that drives and enables business strategic decisions. As strong strategist, I use key visualisations to support my narrative and create compelling insight. I use both quantitative and qualitative analysis, working across client research & experience, market and competitor research and data analytics to deliver rounded insight to enable decision-making. This is always tailored to the audience, in the form of executive summaries and presentations, business papers and enablement tools that are delivered to the board of directors, the executive leadership team and senior managers in the organization. This requires excellent communication skills and domain knowledge, together with the ability to form effective relationships – key strengths of mine. My experience across industries, with varying business models and goals has provided me with strong commercial awareness and understanding of how to create bespoke solutions in partnership with diverse and multidisciplinary teams. My engineering background aligned with my strategy consultancy skills has given me firm foundations which allow me to be very comfortable in handling technical discussions on key operational and commercial aspects at the same time I can correlate and evolve them as part of business strategies.
