Jul. 2016 - Sep. 2019Sacramento, California Area• Crafted, executed, and delivered results-oriented marketing and communications strategies to nearly 50,000 physician members, media, health care stakeholders, and policymakers. • Recruited, supervised and/or mentored a team of ten staff and consultants: $1 million+ annual department budget. • Oversaw content strategy and the development of collateral materials, including marketing campaigns, press releases, fact sheets, graphic design, advocacy op-eds, newsletters, website content, videos, and social media. • Ensured content was maximized and optimized across multiple channels and platforms to maximize brand awareness and engagement. • Spearheaded project to update the brand and website for CMA, CALPAC, Physicians for a Health California (PHC), and over 20 county medical societies. • Launched a pride in profession campaign (#CMAdocs), social media ambassadorship program, media surrogate database, and members-only mobile app that included event functionality, member profile integration, push notifications, and advocacy alerts. • Served as communication liaison on ballot proposition campaigns: Yes on Proposition 56 (2016), Yes on Proposition 55 (2016), No on Proposition 61 (2016), Yes on Proposition 64 (2016) and No on Proposition 8 (2018).
