Jan. 2011 - Mar. 2014While at PwC I worked on multiple assignments mainly in the areas of Transaction Services , Business Valuations and Capital Projects & Infrastructure services. Some of the tasks I handled include:
- Designing the structure and architecture of financial models, presenting them to the client and acquiring their approval (ministers & board members), and: › Leading the team that developed the financial models › Writing the technical user guides of financial models
- Investment strategy for sovereign wealth funds: Analyzing 6 target countries for the energy & utilities sector, as well as 6 target countries for airports › Analyzing the viability of these opportunities according to key performance indicators (KPIs) agreed with the client. In order to measure, among other things, profitability, and some risks (economic, legal, geopolitical, etc.) › Identifying the potential procurement and financing structures possible by country and by opportunity
- Preparing country-specific and sector-specific profile sheets.
- Preparing and writing-up the progress update reports In addition to client work my internal PwC tasks included : - Monitoring and managing project performance: comparing charged manhours agains des budgets
- Preparing periodic performance reports
- Proposals › Researching the market and future potential opportunities and requests for proposals, and writing proposals › Estimating needs in resources (man-hours by grade), and deducing and optimizing the corresponding budgets › Managing risks: Conflicts of interests and human resources requirements, compliance (anti-money laundering), organizing "go/no-go" analyses and decision panels › Coordinating with our technical and legal consulting partners to unify templates and formats, obtaining their contents and optimizing budgets to produce reasonable competitive bids › Writing content Sectors: Government, Energy & Utilities, Transport, Real Estate, Healthcare, Education
