• Analysis of requirements, mechanical architecture development and component/assembly design of Front and Rear Cameras for customers as FCA, Toyota, Audi, BMW and RIVIAN to provide the customer guidance during driving and parking scheme.
• Supporting concept development and vehicle integration of safety cameras with OEM teams.
• Depth analysis, simulation, and development of design documentation (3D models, 2D drawings, ME/EE interface, DFMEA, BOM) Catia and NX, Team Center and Windchill.
• Optimization of design for cost, manufacturability, and quality. Thermal analysis management with focus of mitigation strategies (conduction paths, convection surfaces). DOEs actively responsible.
Electronic enclosure sealing analysis and design (Dispensed sealants, Laser Vibration weld sealing).
• Actively participating with suppliers to confirm design for manufacturing feasibility (DFM), developing of hard tooling, and optimization of designs for mass production.
• Submitting design details to purchasing to complete supplier sourcing.
• Customer interface related with mechanical hardware activities, including design reviews to clarify and negotiate project requirements based on schedule. Analyzing Project Schedules to allow successful engineering execution and documenting progress by making sure that all ME process deliverables are met and are free of mistakes. Communicating program critical items to Mechanical Team (EGMs, Program Manager, and Engineering Director).
• Conducting product design reviews to ensure are compliant with internal design standards and all requirements are complete and achievable through the accurate checklist documents realization.
• Verifying complete Mechanical Analysis, EMC Compliance and Design Verification activities
• Supporting and participating the development of new design standards through a well documentation of lessons learned.
• Supporting prototype and production builds at our factory, and vehicle integration builds at the OEM plants
