As I plumbed the business depths, it dawned on me that they could lucratively exploit the inception of a fresh business unit that would enhance their existing manufacturing ventures. I proposed this to the shareholders, and following the acceptance of my proposition, I was entrusted with starting the company. This involved creating an online Manufacturing-as-a-Service software platform and the institution of an Additive Manufacturing division and IIoT print farm.

My forte resided in management consultancy, wherein I've facilitated various businesses' inception, expansion, and enhancement. Additionally, I embarked on technical consultation accentuating state-of-the-art technologies such as robotics, machine learning, augmented reality, virtual reality, blockchain, and IoT. I was privileged to partake in an array of exhilarating projects for a diverse range of clients, although two substantial engagements particularly distinguish themselves. One encompassed collaborating with a fintech entity immersed in developing innovative IoT security products, which were ingeniously paired with insurance propositions. As the acting and hands-on CTO, I designed and built the first prototypes for the organisation. Another venture involved rendering advisory services to a substantial manufacturing corporation to identify strategies to rejuvenate their heavy industrial manufacturing processes by integrating pioneering technologies like AR and IIoT.

From humble origins in my garage, Ryonic blossomed into a sizeable operation employing nearly 60 employees in only three years, culminating in its acquisition by Africa's preeminent ICT and electronic engineering conglomerate. Ryonic's unique distinction lies in being the first entity on the continent to conceptualise and develop industrial robotics for export to international clients. We managed the entire process in-house, from ideation and fabrication to assembly, including the industrialisation and commercialisation of our offerings. Our unwavering dedication bore fruit, and we successfully exported our products to the United States, Asia, and Australia. The journey was nothing short of phenomenal, and I am filled with pride for the diligent team that brought this vision to life and our collective accomplishments. After working as a Site Foreman concurrently pursuing my civil engineering studies part-time, I ascended the professional ladder to a Senior Project Control Manager, focusing on contractual and commercial elements such as forensic planning, contract claims, and dispute resolution. Over the years, I also amassed experience working on sites, specifically constructing heavy civil structures. My career also included working as a Site Manager, Project Manager, and Senior Project Planner. Some projects I was involved with included an incremental launch bridge, power stations, greenfield and brownfield mines, and various telecom projects. In addition, I ran a self-employed contracting business earlier in my career. I was also involved with a family-owned business, garnering precious acumen in business management and the stewardship of diverse teams. Throughout my professional voyage, I've been fortunate to engage in many enthralling projects that have endowed me with invaluable experience, particularly in constructing substantial concrete structures.
