Chris is a seasoned commercial leader with extensive experience in strategy, diligence, valuation, and change management across notable firms including KPMG, Wisetech, Xero, and Shippit. An ICAEW Chartered Accountant, Chris's professional journey began at KPMG, where over seven years he developed expertise in financial services and deals, advising on more than 30 transactions with a focus on financial due diligence and business model analysis. Progressing to strategic in-house M&A roles at Wisetech and Xero, Chris led over 40 transactions, where he was instrumental in valuing businesses, negotiating deal terms, managing deal processes and overseeing post-merger integrations. This role honed his skills in navigating complex deal environments and driving organizational change. In his most recent role as Chief Commercial Officer at Shippit, Chris led the Sales, Ecosystem, and Commercial Shipping functions. During his 2.5-year tenure, he successfully executed a Series B capital raise, led and integrated two strategic acquisitions, and expanded the platform's reach by securing major clients onto the platform. His strategic acumen was further demonstrated by forging a significant partnership with other leading technology businesses and negotiating a pioneering commercial models with delivery partners. Chris spearheaded Shippit's forward-looking Horizon 2 and 3 strategies and Shippit's OKR process, positioning the company at the forefront of innovation in logistics solutions.
