Jun. 2022 - Aug. 2022Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom• Started a study on the existing and emerging applications for NFTs and blockchain technologies in the context of ticketing, as part of the DECaDE projects, under the guidance of Dr. Chris Elsden. • Collected and analysed over 50 NFT Ticketing projects and tried to answer the following questions: What are their objectives? What valuable features can blockchain and NFT technology offer them? Are they really as effective as the projects claim to be?

Jul. 2021 - Sep. 2021Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom• Designed a survey to understand the prevalence of common patching behaviours among system administrators when carrying out patch management related tasks, and any deviations that may occur in some instances. • In collaboration with Dr. Adam Jenkins at the Technology Usability Lab for Privacy and Security. The research paper will be published in ACM CSCW 2023.

May. 2015 - Apr. 2018Beijing, China• Developed the product strategy as the design lead of RiceDonate, a tech startup that makes charity fun and accessible to everyone. • Led a 4-person design team to create the products, including an iOS and Android App, a mini-program on WeChat, and a website. • Deeply involved in and managed each design iteration, from user research, to prototyping, to user interface and visual design. • Before I left, Ricedonate had attracted over 4 million users, serving more than 200 enterprises, and helping over 1000 nonprofit organisations.
