Dec. 2016 - Dec. 2017While on secondment in Toulouse I worked with the Customer Finance / Sales Finance Dept. to assist Airbus customers in finding aircraft financing solutions to suit their particular needs. This included being the main point of contact for airline customers in Latin America in all financing matters including delivery financing, PDP financing etc. I assisted the customer through contacts in the banking and leasing markets and negotiated any necessary documents from an Airbus perspective. A requirement of this position was to maintain contact with the aircraft financing community to ensure we were up to date with all developments in the market and ensure we were able to assist both financier and airline when necessary. I also provided support to the commercial team in sales campaigns with airlines in Latin America.

May. 2014 - Nov. 2016In this position I worked as contracts manager for the Airbus Flight Hour Services team which provides customised outsourcing solutions for component supply, maintenance and Total Support Packages (TSP) for many large Airline customers of the full range of Airbus aircraft. My day to day duties included reviewing agreements between the customer and Airbus, inputting said agreements onto our internal systems, liaising with our team in Toulouse to ensure smooth ramp-up of services, managing the invoicing and receipt of funds from the customer and reporting to management on any issues that may arise. I was also heavily involved in the recent spare-parts financing for the Flight Hour Services programme (http://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/adnl-signs-spare-parts-financing-deal-with-airbus-406954/). For a period of time, I also helped to manage a portfolio of helicopters for companies in the Airbus Group.
