• Improve sales force efficiency: pricing effectively, sales force performance and organization, coaching
• Create Strategic Plans, yearly Budgets, Interim forecasts
• Define and update the Sales Policy
• Steer Sales activities in line with approved mission and strategy of the company
• Regular personal contacts with top accounts
• Lobby contacts
• Personal direct supervision and support activities of Regional Sales Managers, Key Account Managers, and Product Managers
• Involvement in preparing major commercial agreements
• Monitor and influence receivables management
• Steer export sales and exports and imports administration
• Sales forecasts based on stock planning, service level, stock level optimization
• Order processing, invoicing, customer services, field sales data supply
• Report, analyze, and manage trade promotions
• Analyze and modify the product range, proposals for production or purchase.
• Technical support for the sales team
• Prepare yearly ( or occasional if needed) proposals on remuneration and incentive targets of responsibility are in line with company rules
• Hire/fire decisions on direct reports
• Proposals for training and development
• Job content or organizational changes within responsibility area
