Dec. 2009 - Dec. 2017Kuwait•Supported the launch of the American Eagle brand into the MENA region, and the subsequent launch of a Turkish brand in the Kuwait market – later going on to serve as Senior Merchandiser for three brands concurrently from 2013 onwards (Sarar (Men’s Apparel) Milano (footwear), Warehouse (UK-based women’s fashion brand) and Payless (US-based volume footwear brand)
•Designed compelling sales campaign plans and executed all underlying buying, merchandising and pricing functions to optimize sales and growth
•Provided outstanding brand representation during visits to host brands to establish seasonal lines that met seasonal sales plans
•Serviced senior leadership with targeted reporting (financial and brand P&L reports) – providing key insights into issues and opportunities, while supporting qualified decision-making
•Cultivated a strong collaborative relationship with the Brand Director to support daily operations within the new brands, including seasonal range buying, pricing strategy development and promotion design/execution
•Worked across the VM, marketing and operations teams to achieve cohesion within cross-functional business areas
