Dec. 2024 - Jul. 2025Los Angeles Metropolitan AreaThe Museum of Tolerance's Tools for Tolerance programs for Law Enforcement and Educators are grant-funded professional development initiatives that utilize Museum exhibits and facilitated dialogue to foster critical thinking, difficult conversations, and open the door for new understanding and perspective shifts. I led a team of 3 full-time hybrid staff and 30 independent contractors (facilitators), ensuring compliance with fiscal and operational requirements and alignment with organizational values and goals, and most importantly, impactful trainings. As the Associate Director, I ensured our department's operation procedures and processes were in alignment with our division's core values and goals; reinforced our relationships with internal and external stakeholders; and ensured my team had the support and training needed to excel in their positions.

Managed outreach and agency relationships. Managed each component of a program: scheduling facilitators, guest speakers, and catering; reserving room space; creating agendas; and communicating with agencies on logistical information and agency needs. Created scopes of work for vendor contracts and invoice templates.

Aug. 2018 - Nov. 2018Lansing, Michigan AreaCommunity Outreach Group ran Planned Parenthood's paid canvassing programs in the 2018 election cycle. As the Canvass Manager, I recruited, trained, and supervised 60 paid canvassers. Managed the human resource needs of our office - including weekly payroll, hiring (i9's, background checks, and E-Verify), onboarding paperwork, terminations, employee concerns, and office management. Collaborated with the State Director to analyze daily and weekly reports tracking progress toward goals, and implement rigorous quality control measures for our canvassers. We consistently met ambitious weekly goals for recruitment and results, allowing our team to send out 35+ individuals per day.

Oct. 2016 - Dec. 2017Greater Los Angeles AreaPlanned Parenthood Advocacy Project Los Angeles County is the advocacy (c4) arm of Planned Parenthood Los Angeles. PPAC works with elected officials, community groups, and supporters/volunteers to ensure that patients have access to the healthcare they deserve. I represented PPAP at local events where we discussed the political climate, current legislation that will affect PP, and recruiting volunteers to join our team. I collaborated to organize Capitol Day, one of the largest volunteer-led lobbying days in Sacramento by arranging the transportation and other logistics for staff and a 50-person volunteer crew. Mastered VAN and tracked volunteer engagement. Trained volunteers to phone bank, canvassed for GOTV in Las Vegas, NV in 2016, helped organize rallies, attended health fairs on behalf of PPLA, and worked with the Los Angeles Coalition for Reproductive Justice. We won the battle for health care by defeating the ACA Repeal bills, helped get Senator Catherine Cortez-Masto (D) Nevada elected, and helped increase PPAP LAC's supporter base by 22,000 individuals.
