May. 2005 - Jan. 2007provided annual compliance statements to two Shell boards . Working closely with the Department of Conservation & Environment and specialists consultants, maintaining systems, monitoring performance and providinge input into cultural change activities. Achievements • Represented Health safety and environment team as the technical review of the catalyict cracker replacement $100 million (design and construction) • Incident free turnaround of Alkylation Plant based on safety inspection following a routine maintenance of the plant, this was the first incident free start up in 12 years
• Secured upgrading of ISO 14001 Environment Management System reviewing procedures and closing out non conformances • Negotiated Environmental Licence conditions with DECC and Sydney Water, resulting in a reduction of samples, and the implementation of pollution reduction programs which matched the maintenance schedule of the refinery and the Shell Global commitments resulting in less turn arounds and less duplication of work
• Established the Camellia Peninsula Group, a business partnership (15 companies) to provide a coordinated effort to rehabilitate historic chromium contamination across the Camellia Peninsula, and the extended coordination to address, traffic management, participate in Clean Up Business Day • Wrote and prepared reports include data compilation for Shell Global, Shell national reporting, Shell Boards, Refinery leadership team, regulatory agencies, workforce and community groups • Represented the Refinery at Community Advisory Panel and the Gore Bay residents group
